My Fair Lady - Schedule, Program & Tickets

My Fair Lady

The ancient Greeks told the legend of the sculptor Pygmalion, who created a woman statue of such overwhelming beauty that he fell hopelessly in love with her. Aphrodite showed mercy, brought the statue to life, and gave it to Pygmalion to wife. George Bernard Shaw transformed the ancient material into the enchanting comedy Pygmalion, which Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe used as a template for their successful musical "My Fair Lady" in 1956.
