Mozart: Requiem
When Philippe Herreweghe speaks of «great» music, he likes to talk about his love for the architecture of a work, be it by Bach, Josquin, Beethoven or Mozart. After his performances of Bach and Beethoven last season, the period performance specialist and his ensembles, the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées and the Collegium Vocale Gent, will turn their attention to two of Mozart’s greatest scores: the opus ultimum, the Requiem, and the «Jupiter-Symphony».
